Sensuous Enemy is a female fronted electronic trio band from Madison Wisconsin led by the beautiful, vibrant, and powerful frontwoman JAI, whose lyrics, melodies and soaring vocals stand out among electronica as raw and honest and set her apart from the wave of autotuners. SE members also include John Freriks [programming/guitars] and Chris Wenzel [vDrums/programming].

SE is a darkwave electronic band that blends driving drum sequences and hard techno and EBM synth lines, combines powerful velvety vocals with the use of orchestral strings, piano, and vocal harmonies, as well as live electric rhythm guitar, bass and drums.

They are currently recording a new EP titled "Parity" that Dan Clark of The Dark Clan is mixing and producing to be released in July 2010.

SE has played great shows with infamous groups like Covenant, Assemblage 23, Imperative Reaction, Combichrist, Rotersand, Android Lust, Razed in Black, Iris, Stromkern, Hungry Lucy, The Azoic, C/A/T, I:Scintilla, Terrorfakt, Cruciform Injection, The Gothsicles, Ctrlshft, Endif, Caustic, Bella Morte, CTRL, All The Pretty Horses, Heliosphere, Null Device , Stochastic Theory, and many others!

They have also played numerous Midwest Electronic Music Festivals such as Reverence 2005 - 2009, Madison Electronic Music Festival, Sound n Fury I and II in Wisconsin, WTII Showcases in Chicago, Elektrofest in Cleveland, OH and much more.

SE released their seven song E.P. "Deadly Sins" in 2006 and won "Best Electronic Album of the Year" as well as "Best Electronic Artist of the Year" at the 2007 Madison Area Music Awards.

They completed their full length CD "Fragments" in 2008 recorded and produced by Wade Alin of The Atomica Project & Christ Analogue in Chicago, IL and went on to win "Best Electronic Album of the Year" and "Best Electronic Song of the Year" with "Over" at the 2008 Madison Area Music Awards.
